VANCOUVER — Brock Boeser has climbed into the Vancouver Canucks' top five for power-play goals, netting his 80th with the man advantage to pass Todd Bertuzzi for fifth in franchise history. The milestone came on a power-play goal against the New York Islanders and follows his recent entry into the club's top 10 in all-time power-play points.

Of Boeser's 228 career NHL goals, 80 have now come on the power play. The tally against the Islanders was his first power-play goal of the season, moving him past Bertuzzi and solidifying his place among the franchise's most productive finishers with the man advantage.

Boeser has been a consistent power-play threat throughout his career. In every season in which he has played more than 10 games, he has scored at least five power-play goals, with his single-season high of 16 coming in 2023-24.

With Boeser now fifth, only four players sit above him on Vancouver's all-time power-play goals list: Trevor Linden (97), Tony Tanti (102), Markus Naslund (114) and Daniel Sedin (138). Elias Pettersson is the only other active Canuck within range of the top 10, currently sitting 11th with 64 power-play goals.
