Notice procedure and copyright infringement claim requirements under 17 U.S.C. § 512.

WBS Media Group Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of sports photographers, wire agencies, press partners, and original publishers.

If you believe that material hosted on WBS infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notice.

Formal 6-Step Takedown Notice Requirements

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid DMCA takedown notice MUST include the following 6 elements:

1. Physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or authorized representative.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

3. Specific URL(s) or description of the exact location of the allegedly infringing material on WBS.

4. Your contact details (full legal name, mailing address, phone number, and email address).

5. A statement of good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification & Repeat Infringer Policy

If content you posted was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe this was an error, you may submit a written counter-notification to copyright@wbs.news.

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, WBS maintains a policy of terminating access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
