CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns will be without two starting offensive linemen for Thursday's Week 4 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the team's Wednesday injury report. Starting center Elgton Jenkins and starting right guard Teven Jenkins have both been ruled out, while Pittsburgh will be without star cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and running back Rico Dowdle for the divisional meeting.
Teven Jenkins has missed every game so far this season, with rookie Austin Barber filling in at right guard. The third-round pick has largely impressed in the transition inside to RG despite an up-and-down performance last week against the Panthers, with encouraging reps in both phases. Cleveland is now expected to start two rookies on the offensive line in Week 4, with Barber joining first-round left tackle Spencer Fano.
Without Elgton Jenkins, the Browns are expected to turn to former Ohio State center Luke Wypler. The 2023 sixth-round pick, described pre-draft by Lance Zierlein as "undersized but highly athletic," has yet to play an offensive snap this season and has six career NFL starts, with five coming last year.
Elsewhere on the injury report, wide receiver Tylan Wallace is out for Thursday, while cornerback Tyson Campbell, safety Grant Delpit and tackle Tytus Howard are good to go despite being limited earlier in the week.
