BUFFALO — The Buffalo Bills will be without two veteran starters when they face the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football in Week 5, with head coach Joe Brady ruling out defensive tackle Ed Oliver and wide receiver Joshua Palmer after Saturday's practice. Oliver is dealing with a knee injury he suffered last Sunday, while Palmer popped up on Friday's report with a shoulder injury.

The picture remains unsettled elsewhere, with three players listed as questionable. Wide receiver DJ Moore is questionable for a second straight week despite not having missed a game since 2020. Moore went through a similar practice routine last week, entered the weekend questionable and started the game before heading to the locker room after aggravating the shoulder injury he has been trying to play through, a setback for a Bills offense that thought it finally had a true WR1. Nickel corner Dee Alford is also questionable, with Buffalo listing no one behind him on the depth chart after using Damar Hamlin in the slot on Sunday.

Second-year defensive lineman Landon Jackson is the third questionable designation. There were rumors he could have suffered an ACL injury during last week's game, but Jackson was able to return to that game, spent one day as a DNP and then had two limited practices this week.

On the positive side, Brady said cornerback Christian Benford will play after missing last week with a toe injury, which was apparently not as bad as the walking boot he was in two weeks ago suggested. Brady also said rookie wide receiver Skyler Bell will be active for his first NFL regular season action. The fourth-round pick out of UConn has been saying he is ready to go for weeks, and Monday will provide his debut.
