TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without quarterback Baker Mayfield for Sunday's Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers at Raymond James Stadium, with rookie Jalon Daniels set to make his first NFL start. Tampa Bay released its final injury report Friday, ruling out four players for the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
Mayfield was ruled out with the right thumb injury he suffered last week against the Minnesota Vikings. Outside linebacker Rueben Bain Jr. is also out after missing all three practices this week with groin and shoulder injuries, while tight end Ko Kieft (elbow) and cornerback Benjamin Morrison (quadriceps) were ruled out — Morrison after being limited Thursday and sitting out Friday. Linebacker SirVocea Dennis (calf), defensive lineman Rakeem Nuñez-Roches (ankle and foot) and cornerback Jacob Parrish are questionable after each returned to limited participation Friday.
There was positive news for Tampa Bay to close the week. Wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr., running back Bucky Irving and outside linebacker Yaya Diaby were all full participants Friday and carry no game designation. Linebacker Josiah Trotter was also a full participant and is set to return after missing last week's game.
Green Bay also ruled out four players — guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk and defensive tackles Warren Brinson and Anthony Campbell. Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper and offensive lineman Jager Burton are questionable for Sunday's contest in Tampa.
