BMW PGA Championship Field Loaded With Stars at Wentworth

SURREY — The BMW PGA Championship will stage a loaded 144-player field at Wentworth Club in Surrey, England, Sept. 17-20, headlined by major champions, ex-LIV golfers and 2026 PGA Tour winners on the same dates as the PGA Tour's return at the Biltmore Championship.

The field includes the 2026 Masters champion, the 2026 PGA Championship winner and the 2026 Open Championship winner, underscoring the depth at Wentworth. Alex Noren is back to defend his title, with other recent past winners also entered including Ryan Fox (2023), Shane Lowry (2022) and Tyrrell Hatton (2020).

The event coincides with the PGA Tour's resumption at the Biltmore Championship after a two-week break, creating a compelling 1-2 viewing window for golf fans between football. The BMW PGA Championship remains required viewing with its mix of major winners and DP World Tour stalwarts.

Golf Channel will provide live coverage from Wentworth, airing Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. ET - 1 p.m. ET and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. ET - 12:30 p.m. ET.
