WOKING — McLaren Racing is projected to become the first Formula 1 team to surpass $1 billion in annual revenue, according to a report by Sky News cited by Motorsport F1. The report states that McLaren Racing Ltd's accounts for the 2025 calendar year will be filed this week, with sources indicating the Woking outfit will declare a record revenue total.

Sources indicate the filing will show revenue of £588 million ($779.6 million) for the 2025 period. The figure represents the combined McLaren Racing Ltd business and, while it includes the team's IndyCar operations, the Formula 1 operation sits at the core of the company's activities.

If confirmed on filing, the declaration would set a historic financial benchmark for the championship. McLaren would become the first team in Formula 1 history to surpass the $1 billion mark in annual revenue, a threshold no rival has previously reported.
