LONDON — WBO heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois has identified Fabio Wardley as the hardest puncher he has encountered during his 26-fight professional career. The assessment comes as the two British heavyweights prepare for a high-stakes rematch scheduled for Saturday, October 17, at the O2 Arena in London.

Dubois, who secured a victory over Wardley in their previous meeting this past May by stopping him in the 11th round, placed Wardley above other notable former opponents including Anthony Joshua, Joe Joyce, and IBF champion Filip Hrgovic. Dubois previously defeated Joshua in September 2024 at Wembley Stadium, dropping the former heavyweight ruler four times in a dominant performance.

The upcoming card at the O2 Arena features a British lightweight title bout between Louie O’Doherty and Michael Gomez Jr. The undercard also includes a heavyweight contest between Bakhodir Jalolov and Solomon Dacres, alongside the professional debut of amateur standout Manny Safari.
